Four arrested with over 1,000 kg of marijuna in Makawanpur – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper
KATHMANDU, JULY 1
Police have arrested four individuals with 1,074 kilograms of marijuna from Kailash Rural Municipality-5, Katahare in Makawanpur district.
The arrested are Haribahadur Waiba (78), Buddhibahadur Pakhrin (48), Arun Gole (34), and Rajendra Lama (19), all residents of the local area.
A joint team from the Narcotics Control Bureau, Koteshwor, and Palung Area Police Office conducted house searches at the residences of Haribahadur, Buddhibahadur, Arun, Rajendra, Gokarna Paudel, Manbahadur Moktan, and Somlal Gole.
During the operation, police discovered 54 sacks containing marijuana.
An investigation is underway, police informed.
