FOTON receives Corporate Commercial Vehicle Award 2026 – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper

KATHMANDU, JUNE 20

FOTON has been honoured with the ‘Corporate Commercial Vehicle Award 2026’ in recognition of its contribution to Nepal’s transportation sector through modern technology and sustainable mobility solutions.

The award was received by Anil Kumar Baral, Chief Executive Officer of MAW Vriddhi Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd, at a programme in Kathmandu.

According to the company, more than 2,000 FOTON vehicles, including trucks, vans and electric commercial vehicles, have been supplied across Nepal. The company said the recognition reflects its efforts to promote electric mobility, reduce carbon emissions and support cleaner transport solutions.

MAW Vriddhi has also established a nationwide sales, service and spare parts network and developed more than 200 CCS2 charging points across the country to support electric mobility.
