4.3-magnitude earthquake jolts Jajarkot – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper
KATHMANDU, MAY 26
An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale struck Jajarkot on Sunday afternoon.
The tremor occurred at 2:25 pm, with its epicenter at Ramidanda of Barekot Rural Municipality-1, according to the Earthquake Monitoring Centre in Surkhet.
Chintak Timsina, head of the centre, said the tremor was an aftershock and was felt in surrounding districts as well.
