Hetauda – Ujjwal Chaulagai Wins Vice President Position in Makwanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Election
Ujjwal Chaulagai has won the Vice President position in the Associate category of the Makawanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry election. Chaulagai secured 48 votes, while his opponent, Bishnu Khanal, received 33 votes. In the Associate category, the whole Panel emerged victorious. The election for the Chairperson position saw a tough competition between Anil Agrawal and Pramod Singh Ranabhat. Out of the total 2066 voters, 1816 cast their votes, with 26 in the Category of Goods, 81 in the Associate category, 555 in the Industrial category, and 1154 in the Commercial category. The vote counting started at 8 PM today.
Chaulagai, who won the Vice President position in the Associate category, expressed his commitment to focusing on the development of the chamber and improving the business environment in his upcoming tenure. The 58th convention of the Makawanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry is expected to have a significant impact not only on the province’s businesses but also on the political and commercial sectors of the entire country. Some officials were elected unopposed, and the vote counting for other positions and members is ongoing.
