Padma Jyoti Group contributes Rs 10 million to disaster relief fund – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 31

Syakar Trading Company Pvt Ltd, a member of the Padma Jyoti Group, has contributed Rs 10 million to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund for relief and rehabilitation of communities affected by recent floods and landslides across Nepal.

The company, which represents Honda in Nepal, said the contribution would support immediate relief, essential assistance and longer-term rehabilitation of families affected by the disasters.

“We stand with all the families and communities affected during this difficult time. It is the company’s objective to make a meaningful contribution to relief and rehabilitation efforts,” the company said.

Syakar Trading also stressed the need for coordinated efforts among the government, private sector and other stakeholders to support rescue, relief and rehabilitation and help affected communities return to normal life.
