The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) rebounded on Tuesday, climbing nearly one percent as buying interest returned across all sectors, with daily turnover rising to Rs 4.4 billion.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recovered from the previous session’s losses on Tuesday, gaining 24.57 points, or 0.93 percent, to close at 2,651.68 points.

The rally was accompanied by gains in the broader market indicators, with the Sensitive Index rising 0.95 percent and the Float Index advancing 0.96 percent.

All sectoral indices ended the day in positive territory. The Trading sector led the gains with a 1.89 percent rise, followed by Banking at 1.52 percent and Development Banks at 1.13 percent. No other sectors posted gains exceeding one percent.

Investor participation also strengthened, with the market recording a daily turnover of Rs 4.4 billion, up from Rs 3.56 billion in the previous trading session. A total of 9.52 million shares of 352 listed companies changed hands through 72,022 transactions.

Market breadth remained firmly positive, with 210 stocks advancing, 57 declining, and 10 remaining unchanged.

Among individual stocks, Kalanga Hydro Limited (KAHL) emerged as the top gainer with a 14.99 percent increase, while Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ANLB) was the biggest loser, shedding 13.78 percent.
