Nepal’s premier folk-rock band Nepathya concluded its series of performances in Canada with a grand musical show attended by a large audience in London, Ontario, despite it being a relatively small city.

In a statement issued today, Nepalaya, the band’s management company, said the group wrapped up its two-week tour with its final concert at the London Music Hall in London.

As the two-hour-long performance progressed, the full-house audience swayed and sang along with Amrit Gurung as he delivered a blend of old and new songs.

This year’s Nepathya tour in Canada began in Sudbury and travelled through the country’s major commercial hub, Toronto, before concluding with the London performance in Ontario.

On stage, Amrit Gurung was accompanied by Dhruv Lama on drums, Subin Shakya on bass guitar, Niraj Gurung on guitar, Shanti Rayamajhi on madal, and Dineshraj Regmi on keyboards, collectively enriching the performance with their instrumental support.

With the completion of the final show on Saturday, the 14-member team comprising artists, technicians, and management returned home.

Following its performances in Canada-located in the northern reaches of the globe-Nepathya is set to embark next month on a tour of New Zealand in the Southern Hemisphere, situated in the Pacific Ocean, the statement added.
