Gold price jumps Rs 6,200 per tola in a day – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper
KATHMANDU, JULY 2
The price of fine gold in the domestic market climbed by Rs 6,200 per tola on Thursday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
Fine gold is being traded at Rs 283,500 per tola, up from Rs 277,300 per tola on Wednesday.
Silver price also increased, rising Rs 180 per tola to Rs 4,450 per tola. The white metal was traded at Rs 4,270 per tola a day earlier.
The latest increase follows recent fluctuations in domestic bullion prices, which generally track movements in the international precious metals market along with exchange rate trends.
