KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 2
Daraz, South Asia’s leading e-commerce platform, has launched a new last-mile delivery solution through its logistics arm, Daraz Express (DEX), aimed at empowering non-platform brands and sellers across Nepal.
According to the company, the service offers faster, more reliable, and technology-driven logistics support, enabling businesses to focus on scaling operations with greater efficiency. DEX promises local deliveries within 24 hours and inter-city deliveries within 48 hours, with an average delivery time of less than 1.5 days and a success rate of over 90 percent.
The system integrates AI-based route planning and real-time parcel tracking to enhance transparency and operational precision. Sellers will also benefit from multiple weekly cash-on-delivery settlements and real-time visibility of transactions.
Currently, DEX covers 108 major cities across Nepal and plans to add 70 more before the upcoming 11.11 campaign. “DEX is redefining last-mile delivery across South Asia,” said Ahmed Tanveer, Chief Logistics Officer at Daraz Group, adding that the company aims to simplify logistics and strengthen regional e-commerce infrastructure.
Founded in 2015, Daraz operates in Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar, serving a market of 500 million people.
