Ather Nepal unveils 450X Overtones with new smart riding features – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 11

Ather Nepal has unveiled the new 450X Overtones Series along with three new riding technologies at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 in Kathmandu.

The new series features a tone-on-tone design across three colour options-Still White, Space Grey and Lunar Grey-while retaining the 450X’s existing performance-oriented design.

Ather has also introduced Magic Twist, Infinite Cruise and Voice on Ather across its 450 series.

Magic Twist allows riders to slow the scooter by twisting the throttle backwards, using regenerative braking to reduce speed and recover energy. The feature can bring the scooter to a complete stop and continues to operate even when the battery is fully charged.

Infinite Cruise is designed to maintain a consistent speed with reduced throttle input, particularly during longer rides and steady traffic conditions.

Voice on Ather, powered by AtherStack 7.0, allows riders to use natural voice commands through a compatible Bluetooth headset or smart helmet to search destinations, start navigation, locate charging stations and control supported scooter functions.

Ather Nepal has also introduced a 6 kW fast charger, which the company says can provide around 30 km of riding range in 10 minutes.

The 450X Overtones Series will be available in Nepal from August 11, with the Ather 450 series starting at Rs 334,900. The Rizta series starts at Rs 314,900.

Ather Nepal, operated by Vaidya Energy Pvt Ltd, is showcasing the new products and technologies at Hall C, Stall C2 of the mobility expo, which runs until August 16.

The company is also running a social media giveaway at the expo, offering visitors a chance to win an Ather scooter by following its official social media accounts, visiting its stall, taking a photo with an Ather scooter and posting it while tagging the company and two friends.
