Gold price jumps Rs 5,000 per tola, nears Rs 300,000 mark – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper

Gold prices surged sharply in the domestic market on Monday, rising by Rs 5,000 per tola and edging closer to the Rs 300,000 mark again.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 298,200 per tola today, up from Rs 293,200 per tola on Sunday.
Silver price also recorded an increase. The white metal gained Rs 120 per tola, with the trading price reaching Rs 5,015 per tola, compared to Rs 4,895 per tola the previous day.
