vivo X300 Pro Rumors and Availability – GadgetByte Nepal

Vivo is set to launch its next flagship devices tomorrow in China. The Vivo X300 Pro will be powered by the recently announced Dimensity 9500 chipset and will pack not one, but two 200MP cameras – a first in the smartphone industry. Now, let’s dive into this article.
Vivo X300 Pro Overview
Display and Design

The upcoming Vivo X300 Pro will be a premium flagship (albeit X300 Ultra will launch much later), measuring 161.98 x 75.48 x 7.99mm and weighing 226 grams. Compared to the regular X300’s compact 6.31-inch display, the Pro steps up with a larger 6.78-inch BOE Q10+ OLED panel offering a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and circular polarization as well. The device will be available in Freedom Blue, Simple White, Pure Black, and Wilderness Brown.
Performance and Software
The X300 Pro, alongside the regular X300, will be one of the first devices powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500 chipset. The DImensity 9400 we had last year was already a beast and could function very smoothly, and this year’s will be no doubt be an even better one. Moreover, the device will run on the recently released OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, which Vivo just revealed recently. Like the regular X300, they’re also adding AIGC large model support for landscape creation and AI-customized beauty features here as well.
Camera System
The X300 Pro is the first smartphone to pack dual 200MP cameras – both on the main sensor and the telephoto lens. This is Vivo’s fourth generation of 200MP telephoto. For the main camera, Vivo has upgraded to a massive 200MP Sony LYT-828 sensor with a 1/1.3″ sensor size and OIS. This is a significant upgrade over the regular X300’s main sensor. The telephoto camera is one worth looking forward to. It’s a 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto camera with OIS that Vivo’s executive Han Boxiao claims achieves CIPA 5.5-level stabilization, calling it the “new king of telephoto lenses.” The HPB sensor, where “B” stands for Blue Factory (Vivo’s internal name), comes with Zeiss T* coating, APO certification for chromatic aberration control, and fluorite glass to minimize dispersion.
For selfies, the X300 Pro packs a 50MP Samsung JN1 front camera with a 92-degree FOV. In addition, the rear setup also includes a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, which covers focal lengths of 24/50/85mm. The device features both the VS1 chip for pre-processing and the V3+ chip for post-processing. Similarly, it will also feature a custom focus tracking engine to handle ultra-long-range motion capture.
Battery and Charging
The X300 Pro packs a massive 6,510 mAh battery – significantly larger than the regular X300’s 6,040 mAh cell. It supports 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, matching the standard model’s charging capabilities.
Additional Features and Accessories
The X300 Pro comes loaded with premium features like an Action Button (a first for the X300 series). Other features include a universal signal amplifier 3.0, digital signal amplifier chip, 4 Wi-Fi wall-penetrating chips, dual speakers, an x-axis linear motor, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. Moreover, the device also boasts an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The vivo Zeiss 2.35x telephoto teleconverter kit that was revealed alongside the vivo X200 Ultra last year will also be compatible with the X300 Pro. It will feature a dark black tone compared to the silver version for the regular X300.
Satellite Communication Edition
Vivo is also launching a special Beidou Satellite Communication Edition of the X300 Pro. This variant will be available in a single 16GB+1TB configuration and will offer satellite connectivity features for areas without cellular coverage.
