Ujjwal Chaulagai Announces Candidacy for Vice President (Associate) of Makawanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry

HetaudaUjjwal Chaulagai, the current Vice President of the Makwanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), has announced his candidacy for the position of Vice President (Associate). The election for the new leadership of MCCI is scheduled for Poush 27 (January 11). Chaulagain stated that he is seeking support for his panel as he officially filed his candidacy.

Chaulagai, who presently serves as the Vice President of MCCI, is contesting the election as a candidate from Pramod Singh Ranabhat’s panel. Announcing his candidacy, Chaulagai said, “During my tenure, I have worked for the development of the organization and the welfare of the business community. With your support, I will continue contributing to the prosperity of the organization in the upcoming term as well.”

Currently, Chaulagai is actively engaging with businesspersons through meetings and discussions. He urged all members of the business community to vote for him as Vice President (Associate) in the upcoming election, stating, “Your votes and trust will empower me to fulfill this responsibility effectively.”

Similarly, Madhav Gyawali has announced his candidacy for Secretary (Associate), while Ankita Sumargi and Navaraj Khatiwada have declared their candidacy for open membership positions. Sukrit Raj Parajuli has filed for the industrial sector category.

This year, the MCCI has 2,097 registered voters, including 82 voters in the Associate category. The general assembly is set to take place on Poush 24 (January 8).

The event will be inaugurated by Sher Bahadur Deuba, the Central President of Nepali Congress and former Prime Minister of Nepal.
