KATHMANDU, APRIL 17

Samsung Nepal has launched two new smartphones-Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and Samsung Galaxy A37 5G-in the domestic market, expanding its mid-range Galaxy A series lineup.

The newly launched devices come with upgraded features across camera, performance, display and security, targeting users seeking advanced functionality in everyday smartphones. Both models are equipped with a 50MP triple-camera system and enhanced image signal processing, enabling improved low-light photography and video through Nightography and AI-based subject recognition.

Samsung has introduced an extended 24-month instalment facility, doubling the previous 12-month EMI plan, in partnership with Hulas Finserve Hire Purchase Ltd under its Insta Finance service. Customers can avail the scheme with minimal documentation, requiring only citizenship.

The devices are powered by upgraded CPU, GPU and NPU performance, supporting smoother multitasking and content creation. A 5,000mAh battery is expected to provide up to two days of usage, with the Galaxy A57 5G also supporting faster charging technology.

Both smartphones feature IP68-rated water and dust resistance, along with up to six generations of operating system upgrades and six years of security updates, ensuring long-term usability.

The Galaxy A57 5G is priced at Rs 89,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant and Rs 84,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant. Similarly, the Galaxy A37 5G starts at Rs 64,999 for the 8GB/128GB model, Rs 72,999 for 8GB/256GB, and Rs 79,999 for 12GB/256GB.

The devices are available through Samsung’s authorised retail channels across Nepal.
