The POCO M7 Plus, which could be a rebranded version of the Redmi 15 5G that was recently released in Malaysia, is launching soon in India. This new budget smartphone will come with a bigger upgrade than its predecessor, the POCO M6 Plus. Let’s find out more.

Design and Display

Even though it will be a rebranded Redmi 15 5G, it seems that POCO has adopted a fresh makeover for this guy. With a sharp, angular finish at the back and a red-and-blue accent across the edges. And if it indeed turns out to be a rebranded Redmi 15, we’re also expecting an IP64 rating on this phone.

In terms of the display, the POCO M7 Plus will bring a massive 6.9-inch LCD display. Which now supports up to a 144Hz refresh rate. And it will be TÜV Rheinland certified for reduced blue light emission, reduced display flickers, and a circadian-friendly experience as well.

This budget POCO phone will have the exact same camera setup as the Redmi 15 5G. So that includes a 50MP primary and an auxiliary unit at the back, alongside an 8MP selfie shooter.

Under the hood, the POCO M7 Plus brings a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset. Whereas it will boot on Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 on top.

But the biggest highlight of the M7 Plus is definitely that massive 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. And it will even support 18W of reverse wired charging.
