LG launches ‘Essential Series’ home appliances tailored for Nepali households
KATHMANDU, JULY 6
LG Electronics, in partnership with its authorised distributor CG Electronics, has launched the LG Essential Series, a new range of home appliances designed specifically for Nepali consumers.
Unveiled in Butwal under the campaign “Every Home’s Happiness, LG in Every Home,” the new lineup includes double-door refrigerators, fully automatic top-load washing machines and room air conditioners developed to meet the needs of Nepali households.
According to the company, the products combine modern technology, energy efficiency, durability and affordability while addressing local usage patterns and environmental conditions.
The frost-free refrigerator features a Smart Mode for automatic temperature control and expanded vegetable storage capacity, while the washing machine comes with a water-resistant control panel, ProShield motor and low-pressure water-fill technology suitable for areas with inconsistent water supply.
The new room air conditioner offers both cooling and heating functions, uses environmentally friendly R32 refrigerant and consumes less electricity than conventional non-inverter models.
LG said the Essential Series has been available in Nepal since June, with prices starting from Rs 49,690. The products are being sold through authorised LG brand shops, multi-brand retail outlets and major e-commerce platforms.
CG Electronics, a subsidiary of CG Corp Global, has been LG’s sole authorised distributor in Nepal for more than four decades.
