The electric vehicle landscape in Nepal just got a major upgrade! MAW Vriddhi Motors, the official distributor of Dongfeng Nammi, has officially launched the smart electric SUV, the Nammi Vigo, in Itahari. Positioned as a serious contender in the mid-size electric SUV market, the Vigo brings a blend of futuristic tech, competitive range, and attractive pricing to Nepali consumers.

The local launch was spearheaded by Srijana Motors, the authorized dealer set to manage regional sales and service, ensuring robust support for new owners.

Performance is key, and the Nammi Vigo delivers. It’s powered by a robust 99 kW electric motor that offers instant torque and a smooth, agile driving experience. Buyers get a choice of two LFP battery packs, both offering impressive WLTP ranges:

• Vigo E2 (44.9 kWh): A solid 300 km WLTP range.
• Vigo E2+ (51.87 kWh): An extended 350 km WLTP range.

Perhaps the biggest game-changer is the charging speed. The Vigo supports 3C ultra-fast charging (167 kW DC). This advanced technology lets you boost the battery from 30% to 80% in a mere 18 minutes, adding up to 114 km of range quickly—a massive benefit for long-distance travel across Nepal.

The Nammi Vigo is aggressively priced to capture the market. The ex-showroom prices for the Nepal market are:

However, for the local launch, MAW Vriddhi Motors offers a special introductory price in Itahari: the E2 model is available at Rs 3,799,000 and the E2+ at Rs 4,099,000. This makes the Vigo a highly compelling package, combining power, luxury, and intelligence at an accessible price point.
