MetLife Nepal chief Nirmal Kajee Shrestha receives Asian professional award – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper
KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 17
MetLife Nepal Vice President and General Manager Nirmal Kajee Shrestha has received the Asian Professional Achievement Award in the Outstanding Leadership in Life Insurance & Financial Services category.
Shrestha, who became the first Nepali citizen to lead MetLife Nepal in 2017, was recognised for his leadership and contribution to the insurance and financial services sector.
According to MetLife Nepal, the award recognises his efforts in developing local leadership, improving customer experience and promoting a culture of continuous growth and innovation within the company.
Under Shrestha’s leadership, the company said it has focused on customer-centric products and services, digital innovation, operational efficiency and workforce development, while contributing to the professional development of Nepal’s insurance industry.
“I am deeply honoured to receive this recognition and would like to share this with our employees, agents, partners, and stakeholders who work every day to help our customers build greater financial security and confidence for the future,” Shrestha said.
He said MetLife Nepal would continue to invest in its employees, raise professional standards and create long-term value for customers and communities.
The Asian Professional Achievement Award is organised by Season Media and recognises professionals from across Asia for leadership, innovation, industry contribution and professional achievement.
This year’s recipients include professionals from China, Malaysia, Bangladesh, India, Japan and Nepal.
MetLife has been operating in Nepal since 2001. The company provides life insurance, accident and health insurance, and group insurance and employee benefit services in the country.
