KATHMANDU, APRIL 24

The price of gold continued to fall in the domestic bullion market on Friday, marking a third consecutive day of decline.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 296,500 per tola today, down from Rs 298,700 per tola on Thursday.

Gold prices had reached Rs 301,300 per tola on Tuesday and have since been fluctuating around that level without a sharp rise or drop, before trending downward in recent days.

Similarly, silver prices also declined by Rs 75 per tola. The white metal is being traded at Rs 4,945 per tola today, compared to Rs 5,020 per tola on Thursday, the federation said.
