Record-Breaking Attendance Highlights Public Interest
The NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025 took place in Kathmandu from August 6 to 10, 2025, and has already earned recognition as the largest auto show ever organized in Nepal. Over five days, the event attracted more than 91,000 visitors, turning the capital into a hub for automobile enthusiasts. Due to the overwhelming turnout, the organizers extended the exhibition by an extra day, ensuring everyone could experience the showcased vehicles. This remarkable response clearly reflects the rising interest among Nepalese consumers in automobiles, especially in innovative and sustainable mobility solutions. Moreover, the expo’s popularity indicates a growing curiosity for advanced technologies, including electric vehicles (EVs), smart cars, and future-ready mobility options.
Extensive Brand Participation and Vehicle Launches
More than 50 automobile brands participated, displaying their products across 48 well-designed stalls. Among them, 21 companies focused on four-wheelers, 18 on two-wheelers, and eight on commercial vehicles. The expo introduced 35 new models, ranging from stylish scooters and motorcycles to futuristic EVs and practical commercial vehicles. Visitors had the unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge features, including advanced safety technologies, connectivity options, and eco-friendly powertrains. Consequently, the show successfully educated Nepalese consumers about the latest trends in the automotive industry while emphasizing sustainability and smart mobility.
