Deepal S05 launched in Nepal
One of the most exciting features of the S05 is RSIO (Remote Straight In and Out). This allows the driver to move the car in or out of tight parking spaces using a remote, without sitting inside. For Nepal, where parking is often cramped, this is a game-changing feature.
The S05 is imported by MAW Vriddhi Group, the official distributor of DEEPAL vehicles in Nepal. The company has also invested in charging infrastructure. It currently operates the largest CCS Type 2 charging station in the country. This makes owning an EV more convenient for customers.
Design-wise, the S05 has a soft and friendly look. It suits the taste of Nepali buyers, who often prefer less aggressive styling. Its 9.5-foot wheelbase offers impressive interior legroom. Built on a dedicated electric platform, it avoids the common issue of batteries hanging low, making it better suited for bumpy roads.
Under the hood, it features a 99 kW rear-wheel motor. This setup provides a balanced driving experience and strong performance. At the same time, it helps avoid high taxation linked to more powerful motors in Nepal.
With its attractive design, practical features, competitive pricing, and strong infrastructure support, the DEEPAL S05 is ready to make a big mark. It could very well set new sales records in Nepal’s electric vehicle market.
