Birgunj Customs collects over Rs 124 billion in nine months – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper

KATHMANDU, APRIL 16

The Birgunj Customs Office has collected Rs 124.7 billion in public revenue during the first nine months of the current fiscal year.

According to the office, monthly collections were as follows:

• July (Shrawan): Rs 12.15 billion
• August (Bhadra): Rs 13.42 billion
• September (Asoj): Rs 13.47 billion
• October (Kartik): Rs 11.10 billion
• November (Mangsir): Rs 14.40 billion
• December (Poush): Rs 15.47 billion
• January (Magh): Rs 14.44 billion
• February (Falgun): Rs 14.63 billion
• March (Chaitra): Rs 15.47 billion

Birgunj is one of Nepal’s major customs points, significantly contributing to the national revenue.
