Gold surges by Rs 4,700 per tola, silver also gains – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper

Gold price jumped sharply in the domestic market on Sunday, with the price of fine gold increasing by Rs 4,700 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
Fine gold is being traded at Rs 283,800 per tola, up from Rs 279,100 per tola on Friday.
Silver price also moved higher, rising by Rs 145 per tola. The white metal is now being traded at Rs 4,325 per tola, compared to Rs 4,180 per tola on Friday.
