KATHMANDU, APRIL 2

Gold price in the domestic market declined by Rs 3,600 per tola on Thursday, a day after recording a sharp increase.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold is being traded at Rs 294,000 per tola, down from Rs 297,600 per tola on Wednesday.

The decline follows a significant rise of Rs 7,400 per tola recorded a day earlier.

Meanwhile, silver price also dropped on Thursday. The federation said silver decreased by Rs 165 per tola to Rs 4,780 per tola, compared to Rs 4,945 per tola on Wednesday.

Silver had increased by Rs 100 per tola in the previous session.
