Esewa Money Transfer partners with Merchantrade for remittance services from Malaysia – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper

Esewa Money Transfer has entered into a strategic partnership with Merchantrade Asia to facilitate seamless digital remittance services from Malaysia to Nepal.

The agreement aims to provide faster, secure, and efficient money transfer services for the Nepali diaspora in Malaysia by leveraging Merchantrade’s digital platform and network.

The agreement was signed by Esewa Money Transfer CEO Ajesh Koirala and Merchantrade Asia Managing Director Ramasamy K. Veeran.

To mark the launch, the companies have introduced a promotional campaign titled “Extra Happiness with Every Transfer.” Under the offer, valid from April 1 to April 30, customers sending money through Merchantrade to an eSewa wallet will receive a cashback of Rs 200 per transaction.

Esewa Money Transfer, a subsidiary of F1Soft Group licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, provides digital remittance services to millions of users across Nepal. Merchantrade Asia, headquartered in Malaysia, offers remittance, digital payments, and currency exchange services across the region.

The companies said the partnership is expected to strengthen digital remittance channels and contribute to financial inclusion by making cross-border transactions more accessible and efficient.
