Nepathya to tour three cities in Ontario, Canada – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper

KATHMANDU, APRIL 1

Nepathya, Nepal’s premier folk-rock band, is set to perform across three cities in Ontario, Canada, including Toronto, next week.

In a press statement issued today, the band’s management company Nepalaya said the tour will begin with the first performance in Sudbury on April 10, followed by Toronto three days later, and conclude with the final concert in London, Ontario, on April 18.

Tickets for the Toronto concert have already been sold out, while sales for the remaining venues are reportedly filling up fast.

According to Nepalaya, the band will perform at the Sudbury Community Arena in Sudbury, the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto, and the London Music Hall in London, Ontario, as part of the tour.

“We are deeply encouraged by the overwhelming enthusiasm shown by Nepalis residing in Canada,” said band frontman and lead vocalist Amrit Gurung. “During the New Year period, we will take the stage carrying heartfelt memories of home and immense love from our homeland.”

At all three concerts, Gurung will, as always, be accompanied by Dhruva Lama on drums, Subin Shakya on bass guitar, Niraj Gurung on guitar, Shanti Rayamajhi on madal, and Dineshraj Regmi on keyboards.

Tickets for the Sudbury and London shows are still available and can be secured through the band’s official website, nepathya.com.np, according to the statement.
