KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 5

Kathmandu’s nightlife has entered a new era with the launch of XO Club, a state-of-the-art venue backed by an investment of Rs 30 Crore. Promising world-class sound, lighting, and scale, XO Club is setting new benchmarks for entertainment in Nepal.

Even before its official launch, the club offered a sneak peek through an exclusive under-construction party with AFTERHOURS, giving the city a taste of its international-standard experience.

At the core of XO Club’s appeal is its audio system. The venue is the first in Nepal to feature Adamson speakers, a globally renowned setup trusted by top clubs and festivals worldwide. The installation was personally supervised and tuned by Carlos Sallaberry from Canada, complemented by advanced lighting and soundproofing technology to create a fully immersive experience.

The club’s technical and management team is led by Team XL founder Shashindra Chitrakar and audio engineer Binaya Amatya, founder of Project Studio Productions, supported by over 100 staff members. With a capacity of 1,200 guests, XO Club ranks among the largest premium nightlife venues in the country.

The official opening night on June 6, 2025, hosted by Roneeshma Shrestha, featured performances from 555, Bluesss, OMG Spark, and DJ Khatra, attracting a full house of partygoers. Since then, the club has hosted some of Nepal’s biggest names in music, including Bipul Chettri & The Travelling Band, Sabin Rai & The Pharaoh, John Rai and The Locals, Rachana Dahal, and many others. International performers such as Baby J, Tye Turner, Cocoa, Ksaya, and The Spindoctor have also taken the stage, alongside renowned DJs like Karan Kanchan, Kampai, and Frozt.

XO Club has also become a cultural hub, hosting exclusive premieres of music videos like Sajjan Raj Vaidya’s Behuli, Rachana Dahal’s Hey Bhagwan, and Naren Limbu’s Galti.

The club’s calendar continues to attract major acts, with international DJs Fake Tattoos and Almost Human scheduled to perform on September 12, 2025. With cutting-edge technology, top-tier talent, and a focus on quality, XO Club is redefining nightlife in Kathmandu.
