Insta360 X4 Air Price in Nepal, Specifications, Availability
While, Insta360 launched the X5 back in May in Nepal. The company has already unveiled the X4 Air in US. This latest action camera is a lighter and more compact 360° action camera positioned below the X4 in the lineup. This article will discuss everything about the latest Insta360 X4 Air, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability. Let’s dive in!
Insta360 X4 Air Overview
Design

Insta360 claims the X4 Air is the lightest 8K 360° action camera in its lineup. Insta360 keeps the design clean and minimal look of the X5 series, but instead measures 46 × 113.8 × 37 mm, identical to the original X4. But it weighs only 165 grams, which is 38 grams lighter than the X4’s 203 grams. The company offers two color options: Graphite Black and Arctic White. The X4 Air has a waterproof rating of up to 49 feet (15 meters). Unlike the original X4, the X4 Air works with most Insta360 X5 accessories. If you already own X5 gear, you can use it with the X4 Air.
Camera Sensors and Image Quality
The X4 Air uses dual 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensors. Each sensor outputs 29 megapixels with an f/1.95 wide aperture that helps with light sensitivity and a 6.4mm equivalent focal length. Insta360 includes its AdaptiveTone intelligent exposure algorithm, which balances highlights and shadows automatically across different lighting conditions, and was also the same system used in the X5. Meanwhile, the camera captures 360° videos at up to 8K 30fps.
For video coding, the camera supports both H.264 and H.265 formats, and color profiles include Vivid, Standard, Flat, and I-Log for different post-production workflows. In addition, photo modes cover Photo, HDR Photo, Interval, Starlapse, and Burst shooting.
Battery and Recording Time
The X4 Air packs a 2,010mAh battery. Insta360 claims it lasts up to 105 minutes when recording at 6K 24fps. At the higher 8K 30fps setting, runtime drops to around 88 minutes. Insta360 claims that the X4 Air’s charging reaches 80% in 36 minutes and 100% in 57 minutes using a 9V 2A charger.
Video Modes and Features
The X4 Air inherits most features from the flagship X5. It supports all major video modes, including 360° Video, Active HDR, InstaFrame Mode, Timelapse, TimeShift, Loop Recording, and Road Mode. The camera also supports user-replaceable lenses, which you can switch or replace when needed.
For audio, the camera includes Auto Wind Reduction, Active Wind Reduction, Stereo, and Direction Focus, and audio itself records at 48 kHz, 16-bit, AAC format. The camera also accepts microSD cards with UHS-I V30 speed class in exFAT format, supporting up to 1TB storage.
Stabilization and Controls
Insta360 equipped the X4 Air with FlowState Stabilization and 360° Horizon Lock. These systems handle real-time image stabilization and horizon correction during recording. A 6-axis gyroscope assists with motion tracking.
Similarly, the Insta360 X4 Air also comes with gesture controls that let you start or stop recordings and take photos without touching the camera. This works well when the camera is mounted on helmets, vehicles, or tripods. The Insta360 app handles editing from where you can auto-edit 360° footage, export videos, and edit still images using AI-assisted tools. Similarly, connectivity includes the usual Bluetooth BLE 5.2, Wi-Fi, and USB-C 3.0 for data transfer and charging.
