Hyatt Place Butwal has reported strong guest response within just two months of its opening, reflecting growing interest in Butwal as an emerging leisure and transit destination in western Nepal.

In a year-end message, the hotel said visitors have shown particular appreciation for its location, which offers access to natural landscapes, spiritual routes and adventure-based travel experiences. Butwal’s proximity to destinations such as Lumbini, Chitwan and Pokhara, along with its short flight connectivity from Kathmandu, has positioned it as a convenient stopover and getaway option.

The hotel said changing travel preferences-where travellers seek comfort alongside meaningful and nature-based experiences-have contributed to early demand.
