Honor MagicPad 3 Pro Price in Nepal, Specifications, Availability

Honor has announced the MagicPad 3 Pro alongside the Magic 8 Pro smartphone and Watch 5 Pro in a recent event yesterday. The MagicPad 3 Pro is the first tablet to feature Qualcomm’s newest chipset. Its competitors are wide-ranging, but mostly it targets the flagship section of the Android tablets. This article will discuss everything about the latest Honor MagicPad 3 Pro, including its price in Nepal, specifications, and availability. Let’s dive in!

Honor MagicPad 3 Pro Overview

Display and Design

The MagicPad 3 Pro uses a 13.3-inch IPS LCD panel with what Honor calls 3.2K (3,200 × 2,136 pixel) Super Retina image quality. The refresh rate goes up to 165Hz with seven different levels to choose from. Similarly, the MagicPad 3 handles outdoor visibility much better than the regular MagicPad 3 as it brings brightness with 1,100 nits.  Honor went with IPS LCD instead of OLED to keep the price lower. The display includes what Honor calls “Q-Sync technology,” which they claim is an industry-first PC-grade feature.

And the tablet measures just 5.73mm in thickness and weighs 595 g, which is very similar to the vanilla version. Moreover, Honor here lists 10 different health benefits for the display, including reduced visual fatigue, sleep aid features, and motion sickness relief, among other stuff. The screen uses hardware-level low blue light and global DC dimming to eliminate flicker.

Performance and Software

The MagicPad 3 Pro is the first tablet to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The chip runs an 8-core setup with 2 Prime cores at 4.6GHz and 6 Performance cores at 3.62GHz. This is also the same flagship processor used in the Magic 8 Series phones. Moving on, the base model comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, peaking at 512GB.

MagicOS 10.0 runs on top of Android 16. The software supports “desktop-like multitasking” where you can position and resize multiple app windows freely. Honor designed this specifically for large-screen productivity. Whereas the regular MagicPad 3 runs the older MagicOS 9.0.1 on Android 15.

Camera and Battery

The rear camera is a single 13MP sensor with F2.0 aperture and autofocus. Honor dropped the 2MP macro camera that comes on the regular model, which seems like a measure to save thickness, but since the Pro is only like 0.06mm thinner than the regular MagicPad 3, hence the reason for its omission isn’t exactly clear. Similarly, the front camera uses a 9MP sensor with an F2.2 aperture for video calls.

Meanwhile, battery capacity sits at 12,450mAh, the same as the regular version. But charging speed bumps up to 70W on the Pro compared to 66W on the standard model.

Accessories and Connectivity

Honor sells the Magic Pencil 3 stylus and a keyboard case with a trackpad separately but neither comes in the box. And finally, the tablet supports typical connectivity features like Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 with support for LDAC, aptX, aptX HD, and aptX Adaptive codecs.

Honor MagicPad 3 Pro Price in Nepal and Availability

Honor launched the MagicPad 3 Pro in China first. The base 12GB + 256GB model costs CNY 3,799. The top 16GB + 512GB variant is priced at CNY 4,699. When it arrives in Nepal, the base model is expected to start at no less than NPR 85,000. But Honor has not confirmed international availability for now. The regular MagicPad 3 is expected to arrive in Nepal soon, but we cannot confirm the same for the Pro version.
