Gold price declines by Rs 700, silver sees minor rebound – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper
KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 29
The domestic gold market continued its downward trend on Wednesday, with the price of fine gold falling by Rs 700 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded at Rs 236,300 per tola, down from Rs 237,000 per tola on Tuesday.
In contrast, the silver price showed a slight recovery, rising by Rs 45 per tola.
Silver, which had also been following a declining trend, is now being traded at Rs 2,965 per tola, up from Rs 2,920 per tola on Tuesday.
