DRS to be used in all Nepal Premier League matches – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper

KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 21

The Decision Review System (DRS) will be used in all matches of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2026, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced Tuesday.

The technology will allow teams to challenge on-field umpiring decisions by requesting reviews, giving players an opportunity to contest decisions using match footage.

CAN also announced a revised match schedule. On days with two matches, the first game will begin at 12:30 pm and the second at 5 pm. On days with a single match, play will start at 5 pm.

The third edition of the NPL will begin on October 26 at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
