Proton Nepal opens bookings for e.MAS 5, launches price prediction campaign – The Himalayan Times – Nepal’s No.1 English Daily Newspaper

Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., the authorised distributor of Proton vehicles in Nepal, has opened bookings for the all-new Proton e.MAS 5 electric SUV while launching a promotional campaign allowing customers to predict its official launch price.

Under the “Guess and Book the All-New e.MAS 5 at Your Price” campaign, customers can submit their estimated launch price through a dedicated online platform by selecting their preferred variant and locking in their prediction.

According to the company, five winners will be selected through a lucky draw for each of the two variants. Those whose quoted prices are closest to the official introductory price will be eligible to purchase the vehicle at the price they predicted, subject to the campaign’s terms and conditions.

The prediction range for the e.MAS 5 Prime has been set between Rs 2.999 million and Rs 3.499 million, while the Premium variant can be quoted between Rs 3.499 million and Rs 3.999 million.

The company has also begun accepting bookings for the e.MAS 5 with a minimum booking amount of Rs 100,000. Customers can complete the booking through bank payment and submit the payment voucher online or through Proton sales consultants.

Developed by Proton in collaboration with Geely, the e.MAS 5 recently won the Electric Compact Vehicle of the Year 2026 award at Malaysia’s Allianz DSF Vehicle of the Year Awards.

Jagdamba Motors said the e.MAS 5 will be Nepal’s first rear-wheel-drive electric compact SUV in its segment and will feature five key attributes aimed at delivering a premium electric driving experience.

The company said the campaign comes as Nepal’s electric vehicle market continues to expand, expressing confidence that the e.MAS 5 will strengthen competition in the country’s compact electric SUV segment.
