KATHMANDU, JUNE 13
Aloft Kathmandu Thamel is set to host a three-day Maharashtrian Food Festival from June 12 to 14, showcasing the diverse culinary traditions of India’s western state of Maharashtra.
The festival will feature a range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes inspired by the cuisines of Vidarbha, Kolhapur and the Konkan coast, along with a live cooking counter and mango-based desserts.
According to the organisers, key spices and ingredients have been sourced directly from Maharashtra to ensure authenticity.
The event will be led by Maharashtrian chef Vikram, who has more than 28 years of experience with leading hospitality brands, alongside Aloft Kathmandu’s Executive Chef Rajeev Shrestha.
The dinner buffet will be available on all three days, while special set lunch menus will be served on June 13 and 14.
