The electric mobility landscape is changing fast, and NIU just cemented its position at the forefront with a game-changing 2026 product lineup unveiled at EICMA. Forget slow, short-range scooters; the brand is doubling down on smart tech, extended range, and thrilling performance across the board. This is a crucial evolution for urban commuters and off-road adventurers alike.

The Flagship Revolution: NQiX 1000

The popular NQiX series receives significant refinement, focusing on better battery and motor efficiency for a noticeably smoother ride. The most exciting news is the all-new NQiX 1000, a proper flagship model designed to kill range anxiety. It boasts a powerful 15.5 kW peak motor and delivers a real-world range comfortably exceeding 100 km. This performance, paired with a flexible triple-battery setup, makes it a serious contender for daily commuting and weekend cruising. Plus, with built-in Google Maps navigation now standard across the NQiX line, getting lost is officially a thing of the past.

Bold Style for the City: Introducing the FQiX

NIU is embracing a bold, sleek aesthetic with the new FQiX series. Aimed at the style-conscious urban rider, these scooters feature a striking new design language and a host of advanced technology. Riders interact with a crisp 5-inch TFT display and benefit from enhanced safety features like a rear radar for better awareness. Unlocking is effortless, with multiple options including NFC, Bluetooth, or the app. The FQiX 150 (L1e) and FQiX 300 (L3e) models are set to roll out in Q3 2026, making premium style more accessible, starting from €2,399.

Dirt Bikes Go Electric: The XQi Family Expands

Perhaps the biggest surprise is NIU’s deep dive into the performance off-road segment. The XQi family welcomes two new electric dirt bikes, the XQi 400 and XQi 500. The top-tier XQi 500 Street is a true standout: a street-legal (L3e) machine with a staggering 28.8 kW of peak power and a top speed of 110 km/h, all built on a lightweight 92 kg chassis. This pushes electric two-wheelers into exhilarating new territory.

Every new NIU vehicle also comes with a three-year complimentary pass to the expanding NIU Smart App ecosystem, ensuring riders stay connected with vehicle tracking and smart diagnostics. The future of electric two-wheel mobility looks faster, smarter, and far more connected than ever before.
